I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and began my dance training at the age of ten after being accepted to the State Ballet Academy of Bucharest. During my studies, I had the privilege of learning under esteemed ballet masters who were trained at the Vaganova School in Russia, Great Britain, and the United States. My dedication to dance was recognized with multiple Golden and Silver Medals in Classical and Contemporary dance from various national and international professional competitions, including the prestigious Varna International Ballet Competition in Bulgaria in 1994. I also gained valuable performance experience through national television entertainment broadcasts and furthered my education in Jazz in Great Britain.

As a professional dancer, I achieved the rank of soloist with both the Romanian Opera in Bucharest and the Serbian Ballet Company in Novi Sad. In these roles, I performed lead roles in numerous famous ballets and had the opportunity to tour more than 25 countries, showcasing a diverse range of classical and contemporary works. Following my performing career, I returned to the State Ballet Academy of Bucharest to share my knowledge and experience as a Vaganova Teacher.

My international teaching experience further expanded when I served as the Regional Ballet Coordinator for the SABIS System in the Middle East, where I taught in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. I have also taught in Italy and returned to Romania before establishing my residence in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Since 2013, I have been training students in Vancouver, BC. I am proud to say that many of my students have achieved top ranks in well-known international competitions such as YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) and IBC (International Ballet Competition), as well as widely recognized local events, reflecting their dedication and the effectiveness of their training.

Outside of my professional life, I am happily married to Janet, and I have three wonderful boys: David, Aaron, and Joshua.
